Using the right materials
Here at finelime plastering east we will restore your property using lime based products , it is important to use the right materials for the job, using lime allows buildings to breathe and with many historic buildings externally plastered with modern sand and cement this is stopping that happening. Years of this would have caused countless issues with timbers, brickwork, damp etc. so adhering to the listed/graded buildings guidelines we strip back and re install either natural cork board or riven oak laths dependant on the structure of the building and then a 3 or 2 coat lime system. we also do our own lime washing
